The most important thing that you must take from this video is how they are now starting to talk in terms of a "fluidic medium" filling empty space and that all the other particle interact with it.
Remember Arthur C. Clark's 3 stages of technological acceptance to new ideas. Now expressed in terms of the future of Ethereal Mechanics:
Stage 1) Ridicule: That guy is a total crackpot -- the idea of a medium filling space is preposterous and has been disproved.
Stage 2) indifference: Well it seems to get the correct answer here and there -- but it's too alien of an idea and I have my credibility to maintain.
